For those of you having trouble with the game. I too, was getting the familiar message described by many others. I left it in the Applications folder, tried making an alias but that wouldnt open either. A simple restart though seemed to do the trick, and the game opened nicely from the application folder. Try that! Perhaps it will work for you as well.
The game itself is fun, and slightly addictive, Ive spent the afternoon with it, if that says anything at all.

Following day from my first post: Disk Utility "Repair Disk Permissions". I tried this after it wouldnt open today. This seems to solve the problem!
