THIS APP DOESNT WORK!!!

Lets Golf is a great program and fun to play when it is working, but it is very buggy on my Macbook running Mac OS X 10.6.6! It does not boot reliably. I get the message it is damaged and to delete the program and reload it. I have done this several times, but it does not help. Will not boot with an alias on the desktop. Hopefully Gameloft will fix these problems in a needed update!

I havent even played the game yet and i opened it and it said that it is broken and i need to delete it and redownload it from the app store... i have not deleted it yet.. but i dont know what i should do.. fix it or something!

The game itself is mostly great and a lot of fun, but needing to keep downloading it over an over is annoying. Also, sometimes the strength of a putt is unrelated to the scale; a firm putt that dribbles a few feet might indicate a bug in an algorhythm. Incidentally, the iPad verson has not required repetitive downloading.

I love the game, but continue to receive an error message saying the game cannot start and it corrupted. Please reload. Have performed this many times, but error continues. It takes several attempts, followed by clearning the message to start. Please fix.

I havent experienced any startup problems with this game, though I have only had it for a few hours. Its fun, challenging, and addictive. I played Tiger Woods golf at a friends house on Wii, and this game is pretty comparable in difficulty. Also, the multiplayer mode seemed a bit buggy, though I had one great online game. I wouldnt hesitate to buy if youre into virtual golf games. Oh, Im running this on a 13.3" Macbook Pro - the graphics are acceptable (You can get a pretty good idea by looking at the screen captures above). This game isnt really about "eye-candy" though.

Ive had the app crash twice: "Lets Golf 2" is damaged and cant be opened. Delete "Lets Golf 2" and download it again from the App Store." Unfortunately, when you do this in order to get the game working again, you lose all of your achievements/history and have to start from scratch. Hopefully this will be fixed in a furture version. Its hard to invest any time into it as it is. Aside from that, when it works, it is fun. dam

I played Lets Golf on my old iPod touch and found it very fun. I downloaded it here, and played one game and the app crashed. I redownloaded it from the store and opened it again a few times. Everytime I do this, a message comes up saying "Lets Golf 2 is damaged and cant be opened. Delete Lets Golf 2 and download it again from the App Store." Whats up with that?

Ive reloaded it three times. But after a while in runs so jerkerly that its unusable . I quit all other apps still no good. The app is installed in Applications. Im using 10.6.6 It still tells me its damaged reload again

I like the app on the iPad better. It just feels smoother, and the animation looks great. On my 27" iMac the big screen shows the minor faults in the graphics and the animation seems a bit jerky. But this is a great game for the price. The controls work well enough, if their placement is a little awkward and spread out for a big screen. It keeps me busy for hours at a time, and that tells me everything. The game is adictive with just one more round teasing you to play just a little longer. And thanks for the quick update. It fixed all the minor problems I was having and sped up the loading time. Upped my rating in appriciation.

This can get quite addictive and is hard to walk away from. The graphics and colors are very good and the play can be very tricky in the more difficult courses. The music can get a little annoying after awhile as the same song just keeps repeating over and over. Every once in awhile the game pauses for a few seconds but not enough to interupt the play.

I like the Lets Golf series, but this mac version needs a lot of bug fixes. I have the latest 27" iMac OS 10.6.6. This game is still playable, but you will get disappointed fast by all the bugs. First thing youll notice is that its a little easy to play, even in the hard mode. Bugs I have seen while playing are wind(does not affect you, like it should), Pin line up(does not always line you up for the hole, sometimes it will have you facing the complete other way, even while on the green just a few feet away), Roughs(you can be on the fairway and it will still say you in the rough), Hole flag/pin(ball will pass right through it), Anouncments(when you make a birdie the graphic glitches, when you make an eagle the banner flashes by so fast you barly have time to see it, double eagles are not shown on banner), playing against coputer players(if you mess up a shot dont worry, other players all mess up to, so you can still win game. there to easy), On-line(ive only played a couple games, but scores were messed up(one hole i shot par and other player score birdie, but it gave us both a birdie), Animal Graphics(animals seem to be doing the jackson moon walk alot. also animals sometime affect ball when hit, but other times it goes right through them), I know there must be more, but i cant think of them all right now. Just way to easy.

Cute little golf game - great for when you just want to play a few quick holes. Game still has a few bugs in it.....such as pointing you AWAY from the hole on occasion.....or like the time I hit the ball off a cliff and instead of being "out of bounds", the game insisted on making me try to play the ball at the bottom of the cliff face, which is of course impossible and required me to abort the round and start over. Other than the occasional glitch, its a pretty decent game though.

its amazing how fun these games are. im enjoying it even more than the ipad version. asphalt 6 is good too. i hope gameloft adds configurable controls in their games though in the future.

The iphone game is so much better this game freezes almost everytime a ball is hit in the rough which is almost impossible to avoid because of the fact that the ball spin control is so faulty that it basically sends the ball flying in every which direction upon contact with the ground not only making the game frustatingly buggy but unbarebly painful and awful to play to the point in which it is far beyond being a tiny bit fun.

I am a big golf fanatic, I love playing golf on my playstation, and Mac. At first i was thinking a 5 star program. With it constantly updating will the same install bug fix. I am starting to detour my intrest in this game. Starting to think its a bif wast of money.

I had this game and it was fun but this game has so many broken elements to it. For instance, sometimes I would get birdies for 3-4 holes at a time and the score card would keep me a 0. Its still fun but let me tell you, its incredibly frustrating to have to lose in an eighteen hole game because the game cant keep score.

I love this game on the iPad but it is very buggy on the MacBook. The program keeps freezing my Mac! If I wanted that to happen I would use a PC. Please fix the Bugs!!

I do not understand why people are giving this a bad review. I guess its pretty hard to please everyone. The bugs Ive come across: Id hit the ball in the rough and it stopped inside a plant/weeds, but it didnt stop, the ball kept spinning and the game was waiting for the ball to stop rolling and just looped. But that was only once in the several times Ive hit it in the rough. The other is the spin you can put on the ball. It is difficult to get the spin direction you want and if you do put spin on it, it effects the ball WAY too much. If you put backspin on the ball it will hit the fairway and bounce backwards/sideways about 50 yards. So youre better off not using it at all. As for the game, yes it is fairly easy, but its fun and addicting. Its kept me busy for hours and hours, which is hard to do for a mac game. There are plenty of challenges and courses to play through. Ive been playing it for a couple hours a day for over a week now and Im still only at 20% on the career mode. Ive spent far more money on games that havent entertained me for nearly as long. Careful, it is addicting, you find yourself saying "oh, just one more challenge" or "just one more hole" and you end up playing half the night. I have this for both the iPad and Mac. Unlike most, I do perfer the Mac version simply because it looks better on the big screen and the controls are smoother and timing is easier.

I will say the game is pretty fun, but not when you encounter all of the bugs that really screw up your playing. Like if you manage a great shot on a par5 and end up on the green, itll have the putting alignment TOTALLY BACKWARDS! Some holes dont allow you to use certain clubs, and in multiplayer, IT ALWAYS FREEZES! All in all, the game can be fun and a good way to kill some time. But when you encounter a game changing or altering bug, which you surely will (this game has tons of them), youll wonder if it was worth the 5 bucks...
